intoxicating – Poem by Jack T. Marlowe

Jack T. Marlowe – intoxicating

a fountain
she calls
herself

a fountain
cold lager
washing
over hot
swells of
copper
flesh
rivering
curve
and
crevice

beckon-
ing the
beggar
at her
breast

lick
it off

she
says

her
nipples
rigid
intoxi-
cating

and she
knows

she
doesn’t
have
to
ask
twice
