Don Kingfisher Campbell – Metamorphosis

kiss on bed
under watery moonlight

lizard released
frantically burrows

digits press down
licking like reptiles

tails shift, fingers
touch wedding rings

orgasms come
in fleshy darkness

waves breathe, outside
windows lull us

willingly in cage
six years, another day

happily beneath communal rock
talking tongues
